Selah, Bamberger Ranch Preserve, known locally 40 years ago as the “worst piece of real estate in Blanco County”, is now a recognized model of habitat restoration and good land stewardship, and has won numerous state and national awards, the most recent being the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Lone Star Land Steward Award for the Edwards Plateau Eco-Region for 2008. While also a working ranch, the Bamberger Ranch also hosts 5,000 guests a year through school field trips, landowner workshops and group tours.

Bamberger Ranch is a private ranch and visitation is by reservation only. Please make arrangements before coming to the ranch.
