The City of Horseshoe Bay has accepted the resignation of City Manager, Stan Farmer effective Wednesday, Oct. 13.
The city council and staff appreciate the years of service Stan Farmer provided to the city during years of significant growth and change.
A transition plan has been put in place for interim support for the highly capable department leaders in the city to allow for a smooth transition and on-going services for the community. Jeff Koska, current director of utilities for the city, will serve as interim city manager.
All city business will continue as usual and calls should be made to the specific department when needed or general city phone (830-598-8741). You may also, as always, reach out to any of the council members or the mayor through emails/phone numbers listed on the city website (www.horseshoe-bay-tx.gov).
Following the November council meeting, a formal search will begin to locate a new city manager to serve the city staff and the residents of the City of Horseshoe Bay. Dependable quality service will remain the priority.
Stan is wished all the best as he explores new paths in his career.
