Keep Emeth Bauer in your prayers. He has been hospitalized with pneumonia and heart problems. Hopefully, surgery will help with the heart problems soon.

Pastor John Alsbrooks is having voice trouble. Stephen Mutschink brought the message Sunday. Our lay leaders will continue with the sermons until his voice is better. We wish him a speedy, if silent, recovery period. We enjoyed seeing all the Castell members who joined us Sunday and will continue to worship with us at Art during the illness of Pastor John.

Prayers are requested for the Kairos Walk at the Boyd Unit this weekend. John Koock participates in this mission.

Join us for a church workday on Saturday morning, October 24, from 9 to noon. Lunch will be provided. It will soon be time to put up holiday decorations. We don't just do spring cleaning, we also do fall cleaning.

Don't forget the Art United Methodist Church congregational picture will be taken on Sunday, October 25, at 10:55, right before the church service.

The Finance Committee will meet Wednesday, October 28, at 6 pm. Men's Choir Practice will follow at 7 pm.

And, the best of all, the time change is on November 1. I am really happy to get my hour back.
