Christmas Lights Night Flights
Come see the Christmas Lights like Santa Claus! Fly in the Beech C-45, "Lone Star Lady", a World War II aircraft with seats for seven passengers. Flights will depart from the CAF Hangar at the San Marcos Regional Airport (HYI). Take in the holiday light splendor in San Marcos and surrounding areas. Flights will be approximately 30 minutes. Riders must be 5 years or older; all children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Passengers must be able to enter and exit the aircraft under their own mobility. Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate & cookies after your flight. The CAF Central Texas Wing museum will be open for tours on the flight evenings.
Open Studio Pottery & Wine glass painting
Pottery and wine glass painting classes are offered Friday through Sunday. Choose from shelves of pottery to paint — leave it with us to be fired, or use acrylics and take it home the same day.

Honey Creek Guided Walk - at Guadalupe River State Park
We lead two-mile tours of the natural area most Saturdays and Sundays. On the tour, you’ll hear about history, geology, plants, and animals of this special place. At the scenic overlook, you’ll get a first glimpse of Honey Creek winding through bald cypress trees far below. The tour culminates in a walk by the pristine and peaceful creek.
