Hills of Texas Home of Fredericksburg Earns Coveted Best of Parade Award

Texas Hill Country – Hills of Texas Homes of Fredericksburg has captured the coveted Best of Parade Award for the 2019 Hill Country Builders Association (HCBA) Parade Home Tour.

Hills of Texas Homes also captured the Best of $791,000-$999,000 Awards as well for the home, which is a Hill Country Modern American Farmhouse-style home. Other highlights include large front porch for watching hill country sunsets, open concept living area with see thru fireplace, spacious chef’s kitchen, and large pool bar area, separate bunk house adjacent to the pool that sleeps 6, a beautiful master suite that has direct access to the pool and features oversized spa bath and master closet, outstanding outdoor living featuring pool and spa with large covered porch, and dining under the pergola, and soaring entry leading to gallery with reclaimed hand-hewn beams throughout the home.

The Big Sky Builder out of Fredericksburg won the Best of $1.5 Million-Plus Award, along with sub-categories Best Master Suite & Bath, Best Interior Design & Decorating, Best Architecture & Elevation, Best Craftsman and Best Unique Feature for the ceiling beam work done in the great room. Rio Ranch Homes of Horseshoe Bay won Best Kitchen & Living, and tied with Sterling Creek Builders of Llano for Best Outdoor Living.

In the category of the $1 Million – 1.4 Million Cherry Custom Homes took the sub-categories of Best Interior Design & Decorating, Best Outdoor Living, and Best Unique feature for the floor to ceiling windows that captures the incredible view. Sterling Creek Builders of Llano won Best Kitchen & Living, Best Architecture & Elevation, and Best Craftsmanship. Treo Signature Homes won Best Master Suite & Bath.

For its recognition of the Best of $791,000-$999,000 Award, Hills of Texas Homes of Fredericksburg also swept all the sub-categories Best Kitchen & Living, Best Master Suite & Bath, Best Interior Design & Decorating, Best Outdoor Living, Best Architecture & Elevation, Best Craftsmanship, and Best Unique Feature for its separate detached Bunk House that sleeps 6 and its unique water collection system.

Artisan Creative Homes of Kingsland won the Best of $500,000-$790,000 Award. It also topped sub-categories of Best Kitchen & Living, Best Outdoor Living, and Best Craftsmanship and Best Unique for its Beautiful Pine Staircase that leads down to the boat dock and water of LBJ. Treo Signature Homes won Best Master Suite & Bath, Best Interior Design & Decorating, and Best Architecture & Elevation.

The Parade Home Tour showcases the best of custom building in the Hill Country. The event is October 11-13 and October 18-20.
