Lob snowballs at a target with a slingshot, watch an ice sculpture take shape and make mini snowmen at the Science Mill's fourth annual Snow Day, as its backyard—the Science & Art Park—is transformed into a winter wonderland with 25 tons of real snow.

With a focus on science-based activities and demonstrations, Snow Day activities will take place from 10am to 2pm. Activities include a mini snowman build-a-thon, ice sculpting, snowball slingshot, Abominable Obstacle Course, make-n-take snowball launchers and a snow globe photo op.

Snow cones, hot chocolate and other refreshments will be available for purchase from various food trucks, and live music by Mr. Johnny and Sharon will entertain all ages. Visitors are encouraged to bring mittens or gloves to keep their hands warm while playing in the snow.

Snow Day includes admission to the Science Mill, which will be open from 10am-4pm, and its 50+ exhibits and a special screening of the 3D movie, Wonders of the Arctic. Tickets are $11 per adult, $9.50 for ages 3-18, $9.00 for seniors, $5.50 for military, and free for ages 0-2. Science Mill members get in free.
