Pamela Hart, highly regarded as Austin, Texas’ finest jazz vocalist and named by Austin Woman magazine as “Austin’s First Lady of Jazz” will be performing a special Father’s Day concert presented by Horseshoe Bay Cultural Enrichment. Look no further for that special and unique Father’s Day gift!

Pamela Hart and her Quintet (Pam on vocals and piano, bass, saxophone and drums) treat audiences to a delectable array of jazz standards, classics and smooth jazz tunes, all highlighting the voice of one of the country’s great female jazz singers and storytellers. A California native, Pam relocated to Texas in 1982, where she began entertaining in Austin’s prestigious jazz clubs like the Elephant Room.

Pamela and husband Kevin Hart have produced the annual Women in Jazz Concert Series (one of Texas’ premier events) for female jazz musicians since 1994. Her goal is to keep jazz alive and to pass on to the young singers she coaches that jazz tells a story using not only the voice, but the whole body and soul.
