My Neighbor’s Keeper Announces Annual Mardi Gras Fundraiser

Ready for some Mardi Gras fun? And don’t want to go to New Orlean or Galveston? The 7th annual My Neighbors Keeper Mardi Gras will be held on February 10th at Montesino Ranch in Wimberley. Enjoy Mardi Gras fun and entertianment right here in our hometown without the overwhelming crowds. Party with friends and neighbors while helping to support My Neighbors Keeper.

Dig out those colorful Mardi Gras outfits, dress up and enter the costume contest for your chance to win a prize

Come eat cake; you could be the lucky person who finds the baby and be our King or Queen.

Listen to great music by Wimberley’s own Jesse Stratton Band and Broken Glass.

Don’t miss your chance to enter the Gumbo Cook off, show off your best recipe and compete for cash prizes.

Or just come out and eat, drink, dance and have fun. Make some noise and have a great time from 6 till 11pm. This is an adult event; you must be 21 to be admitted to this fundraising event. Beer, wine, fresh roasted coffee, hurricanes, gumbo, pulled pork and chopped beef sandwiches, beer brats, quail kabobs, veggie fried rice, phorittos and crab and shrimp etoffe´ and more will be available.

My Neighbors Keeper (MyNK) sponsors this annual event as a fund raiser for our local victim relief fund. There will be a limited number of tickets availalble for $10. Food and drink tickets will be available at ticket tables throughout the event. Admission tickets can be purchased at the Wimberley Visitor Center, Ino’z Cafe, from any MyNK board member and at the event.
