In 2019, I acquired this property which is steeped in family heritage and history. Its former stewards utilized the land to serve the community for over 137 years. Continuing the settler’s legacy of stewardship of this land is a means to our mission – pouring it forward to serve our community, friends, and guests. Our vision is...Making the heart of Art great again!
Art is located deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, 7.5 miles east of Mason and 27 miles west of Llano, on E. Hwy 29 on the famed wildflower loop of Mason County. This scenic town is steeped in a goodly heritage and history. The community was settled in 1856 by German settlers who relocated from Fredericksburg to Upper Willow Creek.
The General Store of old has been transformed into a tasting room and serves as the home of 1900 Winery. Art General Store offers premium wine tastings featuring our 100% Texas grown grapes. In our Art Gallery we showcase Art Events & Exhibits featuring local artisan jewelry, novelty artworks, and specialty food products for purchase. Whether looking for souvenirs, a hostess gift, shopping for yourself or that special someone you’re sure to find a treasure and then...there’s always wine!
Come Join us on our covered outdoor porch. We have plenty of room to bring friends and family as you let the day slip away as you sip, listen and dance to live music. Gather around the fire pit to watch the beautiful sunsets and count your lucky stars as they shoot across the big Texas sky.
The Art Feed House and our unique boutique heart-shaped show vineyard is the perfect wedding or event venue. Schedule tastings, events and vineyard tours with us. You can contact us at 833-299-1900 or learn more online at HeartofArtTexas.com.
