The Old County Annex Barn sat waiting for a new purpose. This year work began on the barn to turn it into a Vendor’s Market. There are 22 booths. Nine have been filled and seven new vendors open in March and April.
The owners wanted to create an environment for someone to come in and set up a small retail business with little up-front cost and an on-site cashier so you can still work at your day job while growing your small business. Commercial rent is high in Blanco County so this is the perfect place to start your own small business. A new vendor is renting shelf/smaller space, allowing those who want a presence at the Old Annex Market, but not a full booth, the opportunity to start selling.
The Old Annex Market is now open Thursday thru Saturday, 10am – 6pm, Sunday Noon to 6. There is clothing for men, women, and children. Lots of cute caps, trendy jewelry, shoes, purses. Beautiful handmade items from local craft people and artwork. New and gently used merchandise. Something for everyone.
Located on the square in Johnson City, look for the flags!
