Annual Wein & Sangerfest Celebration

Uncork a day full of fun in beautiful New Braunfels, Texas, at the 19th Annual Wein and Sangerfest celebration! Wander the shops of historic downtown New Braunfels while you listen to live music, sample wine and craft beer from a variety of Texas-based vendors, participate in family-friendly activities, and munch on treats from local food merchants. And it’s all to help a great cause! The event is free, but tasting tickets and souvenir wine and beer glasses are available for purchase with the proceeds benefitting the New Braunfels Downtown Association and the New Braunfels Parks Foundation for downtown beautification and enhancement projects. When you’re ready for a break, try your hand at live trivia, head into an air-conditioned downtown shop, or check out one of several wine and craft beer educational seminars. These seminars are for beginners and experts alike and include tips on pairing food with wine, deciding which wines to buy, and a closer look at the ingredients in your favorite craft beer.

Wein and Sangerfest starts at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 7th, with live music happening throughout the day from Knotty Pines, the Barditch Hippies, and Yesenia McNett and the Groove Doctors. The event culminates with a street dance at 8:00 p.m. to the tunes of Soul Sessions, a unique group of Central Texas' top R&B, Soul, and Funk musicians.
