What began over a quarter of a century ago as the brainstorm of Llano residents and a group of hunters from Beaumont has grown into quite the Cajun festival – and benefits local charities, too.
The Llano Crawfish Open returns for its 32nd year April 22-23 at Robinson Park, about two miles west of Llano on FM 152, and features plenty of crawfish and Cajun food, live music, a golf tournament, a motorcycle run, arts, crafts and much more, in what is a little fun for everyone.

The 39th Annual Burnet Bluebonnet Festival, which draws approximately 30,000 visitors to town annually, will be in full swing April 8-10.
Allison McKee, Burnet Chamber Executive Director states, “Bluebonnet Festival is an exciting event for the entire community. Our Grand Parade was on hiatus for 2021 due to gathering precautions, so we are excited to have it back and better than ever, as it is one of the big highlights of the weekend.”

The Wiener King Is Coming To Buda, Texas
Come to Buda, Texas, on April 23 and 24, 2022, and join in the fun. The Buda Lions Club will be holding their 25th Annual Country Fair and Wiener Dog Races at the newly renovated Buda City Park, 204 San Antonio Street, Buda, Texas. This event is for the entire family including dogs.
In case you are wondering what happens at the event, we will have a Best Dressed Pet Parade to kick off, followed by Wiener Dog Races for both pure wiener dogs and mixed breed wiener dogs.
