Come to Buda, Texas, on April 23 and 24, 2022, and join in the fun. The Buda Lions Club will be holding their 25th Annual Country Fair and Wiener Dog Races at the newly renovated Buda City Park, 204 San Antonio Street, Buda, Texas. This event is for the entire family including dogs.

In case you are wondering what happens at the event, we will have a Best Dressed Pet Parade to kick off, followed by Wiener Dog Races for both pure wiener dogs and mixed breed wiener dogs. There will also be the fastest-dog race for any type of dog.

We will have arts and craft booths for shopping, kids will have a play area with bouncy houses, a train ride, and fishing tank. There will be plenty of food to purchase from our nonprofit groups from the Buda area and drinks from the Leo Club. We will have entertainment throughout the day and a country store to purchase the theme t-shirts, posters and more. There will be a BBQ Cook-off on Saturday.

The gate admission will be $5.00 for adults and kids over 12. Kids 12 years and younger get in free.

Free parking will be available behind Cabela’s with a free bus ride to the entrance gate of the park. There will be limited parking at the city park, however, we encourage you park at Cabela’s to avoid getting into traffic.
