Fredericksburg's Christmas Nights of Lights

Experience the unique mix of German Christmas traditions and warm Texan hospitality this Weihnachtszeit, or Christmas season, in Fredericksburg. Celebrate the season with friends, family and neighbors with a nightly lighting of the Community Christmas Tree and German Christmas Pyramid during Fredericksburg’s Christmas Nights of Lights.

Beginning on Tuesday, Nov. 25 all are invited to experience a 10-minute audio presentation, featuring the story of the town’s German heritage, holiday carols and concluding with a countdown to the lighting of Marktplatz.

Fredericksburg’s Christmas Nights of Lights continues nightly through Jan. 6. Each evening will feature holiday music starting at 5 p.m., and the 6 p.m. audio presentation and lighting countdown. After the countdown, the music will conclude at 6:30 p.m. Please note that there will be no audio presentation on December 5th during the Parade or December 31 during the New Year's celebration, but the lights will come on as usual.
