Walkway of Lights
Open nightly 6pm-10pm. Remains open for 44 nights, unless there is severe weather. Pets are welcome, but keep them on a leash.
Blanco Market Day
Our next Blanco Market Day will be September 20, 2025 from 9am-4pm. It is an outdoor market averaging 60-80 crafters, artists, and bakers offering homemade apparel, crafts, home decor, bakes goods, art, woodwork, candles, jewelry, embroidered items and much more, Join us on the square in downtown Blanco for a fun day of shopping and enjoy the food and live music. Free and kid/pet friendly.

Light the Night Christmas Parade

Held annually on the first Friday of December at 6:30 p.m., the parade travels between Washington and Bowie Streets, delighting thousands of spectators along the route. Grab your lawn chairs and claim your favorite viewing spot—or enjoy the show from reserved bleacher seating (limited paid seats available for $40/each) in front of the library. Presented by H-E-B, this Fredericksburg Chamber signature event features more than 150 dazzling floats, all celebrating the spirit and charm of our community. After the parade, the festivities continue at AfterGlow, located on Marktplatz, with food and beverage vendors, holiday music, and free photos with Santa at Peppermint Platz.
