Service, unity and love of community in the origins of Lights Spectacular
According to Rhonda Stell, the first lighting in 1990 looked like a beautiful cake. At that time, members were allowed to decorate the roof.

One can’t talk about the origins of Lights Spectacular without thanking Norma Honeycutt, Rosie Danz, and Rhonda Stell. Danz was the 1990 JC Chamber President at the time and said, “Norma Honeycutt made this possible, and we’re so blessed she joined our community.” Honeycutt was a newcomer and Garden Club President in 1990.
