Local sales tax revenues continue to be strong
Local Texas Hill Country cities continued to post strong sales tax figures during the summer compared to statewide totals. Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced last week that he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts $629.2 million in local sales tax allocations for September, 1.4 percent less than in September 2015.
