Man dies after jumping into Lake Buchanan

A man died on Sunday after jumping into Lake Buchanan from a cliff. Authorities said Joshua Reid, 39, jumped into the water before 4 p.m. Sunday and did not resurface. He was on the north side of the lake. He was with friends, and they immediately called 911. They also tried to find him. Reid’s body was recovered that same day by members of the Buchanan Dam Fire Department’s dive team.
