Burnet’s Drought Response Plan
In my last ‘Message from the Mayor’ I talked about the copious rains that we’ve had lately, but this time, I want to talk about the lack of (or possible lack of) rainfall as the summer moves on. Although we are predicted to have a wetter than normal summer, it doesn’t take very much of a lack of rain to put us into drought status.
