Did you know the Kendall County Fair has been a part of the community since 1905! This year will mark our 113th annual Fair and Rodeo even Labor Day Weekend. Boy do we have lots to tell you! The organization is committed to supporting our community and youth in many areas.

Known perhaps best as the boyhood home of Lyndon Baines Johnson, the 36th President of the United States, Johnson City is also home to numerous wineries, aritists, restaurants and popular visitor destinations. The quaint Texas Hill Country town of Bertram is preparing itself for this year’s annual Labor Day event, their 41th Annual Oatmeal Festival. Our festival begins Friday evening at 5:03 pm in the nearby town of Oatmeal TX with a Beauty Pageant, artisans, vendors, music and more. Festival activities continue all day September 1st in Bertram TX.

We’re ready to make some trouble! Echo Gallery in Johnson City, TX, invites the public to The Breast Show, an art exhibition in August of 2018. The female breast has been a battleground between motherhood and sexuality for too long. The perception of the world community that the United States does not enthusiastically support breastfeeding deserves a resounding rebuttal. One outcome of this exhibition will be to normalize and depoliticize the female breast.
