Meet Your Next Adventure in Junction
Pristine rivers, stunning limestone cliffs, colorful fields of wildflowers, and rolling hills blanketed in oak and pecan trees surround Junction, a quaint village on the western edge of the Texas Hill Country. Along with being a visual treat, these scenic environs provide a fantastic backdrop to a whole range of outdoor adventures.
More than 100 artists, exhibitors, musicians food vendors and demonstrators will sprawl across 13 acres on the Guadalupe River when the Texas State Arts and Crafts Fair returns to Kerr County on the grounds of the Hill Country Arts Foundation in Ingram, Sept. 25-26. After last year’s cancellation, this fall’s event promises a return of favorite features and a few changes.
After missing last year, the 2021 Comal County fair and rodeo in New Braunfels is back! This year’s fair takes place from September 18th thru the 26th at the Comal County fairgrounds. There will be activities and entertainment for folks of all ages. Fair events kick off with a barbecue cookoff Saturday, September 18th.
Smokin’ in Llano since 1962
It’s no secret that Llano loves its barbecue. Heck, every town in Texas loves barbecue. But in Llano, maybe the attraction runs just a little deeper than most places and, maybe the reason is as simple as saying, smelling and savoring Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que. Yep, since 1962 this (to many, essential) eatery has been dishing out deliciousness to locals and out-of-towners alike who can’t seem to get enough of its goodness.
The Marble Falls Summer Concert Series ends on a high note with Stoney LaRue and Mike Ryan performing on September 11th, 2021. Performances also include Ben Watson & Steve Raby, First Cav Rock Band, and the Sam Williams Band.
