TPWD Veteran Mental Health Awareness Ruck Hike

The local Burnet VFW Post 6974 and Inks Lake State Park are partnering for our third annual Veteran Mental Health Awareness Ruck Hike! This will be a non-competitive (FUN) hike on a fairly easy trail with varying lengths possible for participants. When : Saturday, September 26th Check in : 9am-10am Hike : 10am-12pm Those that qualify can also receive a Texas State Parks Veteran or Active-Duty Pass at the park headquarters. Texas Parklands Passports — Texas Parks & Wildlife Department Important notes: ADA accommodations are available. An EcoRover Tracked Wheelchair will be available for use Lunch will be provided by the VFW following the hike, and there will also be free kayak and fishing equipment rentals for participants.
