Commissioners Add It All Up At Budget Workshop
Among the discussion of updated equipment for the Blanco County Sheriff’s Department was the need for fully equipped vehicles. Currently, the department has 14 vehicles. The ideal situation would be to provide each staff member with a fully outfitted vehicle under 200,000 miles. Two vehicles now sit broken and one is ready to retire at well over the suggested milage.

Blanco County Commissioners held a Budget Workshop Meeting on Tuesday, June 26th immediately following the Special Meeting. The meeting was to hear budget requests/appeals from any elected officials, department heads, judicial departments and any other organizations and/or agencies that receive funds from Blanco County.
