(AUSTIN) — Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar today said state sales tax revenue totaled $2.77 billion in June, 13.7 percent more than in June 2017.
“Sales tax revenue increased for almost all major economic sectors,” Hegar said. “The strong revenue growth was led by collections from the mining and manufacturing sectors. The construction, wholesale and retail trade sectors also saw strong gains.”

San Antonio, Texas – The Texas Wildlife Association (TWA) celebrates 33 years of promoting effective habitat conservation and responsible hunting through private land stewardship at its annual convention, WildLife 2018 on July 12-15, in San Antonio.

Hill Country Memorial announces the third quarter dates for its Obstetrics Department Tour & Open House for expectant parents.
The open house will be held on Thurs., July 5 from 5:30-7:15 p.m. in the HCM Women’s Pavilion (1011 S. Milam St, Fredericksburg). Light refreshments will be served.
The event will continue to be held on the first Thursday of each month, including Aug.
