JCVFD Annual Fish Fry Set for May 8
$6k purchase brings $16k equipment upgrade
The Scott Crofts band is booked to play live music for the JCVFD Fish Fry fundraiser on May 8 at the Blanco County Fairgrounds in Johnson City. Last year’s fundraiser was cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns, which are mitigated now due to increased vaccinations and less active cases.

Board members of the Johnson City Volunteer Fire Department held a regular business meeting on last Wednesday, March 24. President Ray Bible called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m., and a quorum was established. Members present were: Jeremiah Petersma, Sam Richardson, Justin Davis, Danny Alba, Justin Kohner, Reed Moore, Thomas Monaghan, Kemp Elliott, Jed Felps, with Whitney Liesman joining by phone.
