Runnin’ Eagles compete at Islander Invitational
The LBJHS Cross Country teams traveled to Corpus Christi Saturday for a trial run on the UIL Region IV-2A Championship course. The Islander Invitational boasted eight divisions with 200-350 competitors in each Varsity division for the largest field the Eagles and Lady Eagles have faced in 2021. Freshman Jackie Earley placed fourteenth overall in the Medium/Small School Varsity Girls’ 2-Mile which included runners from 3A and below.
