Floodgate notification system available to public
The Llano County Commissioners heard a presentation on floodgate notification in a brief regularly scheduled meeting Monday morning. Ron Anderson, assistant emergency management coordinator for Llano County, provided information on FONS (Floodgate Operation Notification System) provided by the Lower Colorado River Authority. The notification system informs the public of changes to the floodgate operations in dams operated by the LCRA.
