There will not be an independent candidate on the ballot for sheriff in Llano County in the November general election. Cindy Ware, county elections administrator, said the deadline for an independent candidate to file with enough signatures has passed, and no one has filed. The deadline to file was June 23 with valid signatures from 351 registered voters who did not vote in the Republican or Democratic party primaries or runoff elections.
