The Llano County Commissioners proposed to keep the effective tax rate level at Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting. They proposed a total rate of 0.30459 for fiscal year 2017, a slight decrease from the 0.31620 rate set a year ago. However, the rate will raise an additional $132,751 from last year due to increased property values.
