It’s rare these days to hear of a couple that has been married for seven decades. It’s rarer still to find such a couple still as deeply in love as Olvis and Verna Osborn, married on Dec. 20, 1946 in Llano. It’s not uncommon to see Verna, now 85 years old, reach for her husband’s hand and give it a squeeze or for Olvis, now 95, to coo words of adoration to the wife who rarely leaves his side.
