Llano meat judging takes home national title
That’s a lot of hefty hardware taken home by Llano at the American Royal National 4-H Meat Judging Championships held late last week. In addition to taking home the national championship, Llano received first in each of the following categories: beef judging, pork judging, retail cut judging, oral reasons, total judging and retail cut identification. Individually, Dane Black finished first, Caleb Cowan finished fifth, Kaymon Lange finished seventh and Dalton Bauman finished 10th.
