Llano ISD had a high score in the FIRST rating, it was announced at the Oct. 23 board of trustees meeting. Llano ISD scored 98 out of a possible 100 points in the FIRST (Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas). The score is based on 15 indicators. The only indicator that the LISD scored poorly on was the debt service coverage ratio, but school officials said this was due to a lag in reporting and is based off the 2015-2016 school year.
