The body of a man pulled from the Llano River near Kingsland has been identified. Jarod Lee Layton, 38, of Kingsland, was pulled from the river on May 27. At 4:19 p.m., a man knocked on the door of a residence in the 6700 block of River Oaks in Kingsland, and reported he had just pulled a deceased male from the Llano River. Deputies and investigators responded and conducted an on-scene investigation that included speaking to several witnesses.
