Llano High School officially began preseason for spring sports on Saturday, Jan. 30 as the Lady Jackets varsity soft-ball team had its first scrimmage of 2021 at home against Dublin High School. Although the Lady Jackets were a bit shorthanded (due to basketball season still being in session) and had to climb out of a first-inning hole, Llano played quite well on both offense and defense throughout the afternoon.
