The greeting of Merry Christmas, was had. However, it was usually followed by, "Are you ready for Christmas?" I must admit, I've said this, but it's really a stupid question. Is anyone really ever ready for Christmas? No, there is always something that we forgot to get or do. But, if you look at it in a way that is comforting, you can always say, "well we did okay without it, and maybe you can justify it by saying to yourselves, "Nobody died because of the oversight!"
