In "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," one of the short films in Disney's masterpiece film, "Fantasia," Mickey Mouse gets into trouble when he dons the wizard's hat and tries his hand at some magic. His one attempt? Enchanting the broom and the bucket to fill the cistern while he rests. Audiences watching the film bought into the magical aspect of the film.
