Mason County Historical Society to hold fundraiser for Fort Mason Roof Repairs
The Mason County Historical Society which consists of the Mason County Museum and the Fort Mason Committee has begun a fundraiser to help with the cost of replacing the roof on the Officer’s Quarters of Fort Mason located at 204 West Spruce Street. The entire roof needs to be replaced with special cedar shingles from Canada that are historically correct for the time period of the fort.
