Johnny Nicholas Releases New CD at the Odeon
The Hill Country’s favorite bluesman and one of Austin’s best will return to the Odeon theater Saturday, October 15 at 7:00PM. Johnny Nicholas will be releasing his new CD Fresh Air at the Odeon performance. Nicholas calls the various stylistic shifts on the new album, “the blues as I know it,” and the title nails that sentiment. To begin, Nicholas shouts at the devil with his blues harp on “Moonlight Train,” a spooky story about losing a partner.
