A tale of two guys    “Where you from?”    Since I try to be sociable, at least when my phone isn’t getting good reception, I posed the question to a fellow in a clothing store in Charlotte Amalie, on St. Thomas, USVI. Tourists in the islands rarely ask one another’s name, since they’ll just forget it anyway, and there’s no use asking how anyone is doing.
