Local Jogger Struck by Car
James Kelly Schmidt of Mason was struck by a car early Friday morning while jogging on Moody Street, between Heritage Park and Mason Building Supply. Schmidt was transferred to University Hospital in San Antonio with broken shoulder, ribs and toe. There were also concerns with bleeding in his lungs and head, so he was kept in the ICU for further observation.
