During the past several months the City has begun seriously considering the various approaches to treating our public water supply to remove the radium and other radioactive particles that naturally occur in our local water. This has been an area of concern for many years, and with changes in technology and regulations we are now able to identify reasonable ways to address the problem and reach a solution that is practical and affordable.
