Listening Dear Gerry, In your column regarding politicians NOT hearing what their citizens were saying- “People were talking: but the elected officials weren’t listening.” This is exactly what I witnessed at the City Commissioner’s meeting on April 24th when Commissioners Beaty and Nelson and the mayor voted for a Resolution, that went against the public opinion expressed to them before their vote.
