The weekend of August 19, a severe surface wind struck the Center and completely ripped the southwest corner of the metal roofing off the building, removing approx. 600 sq. ft. of the metal roof and pulling many of the lath boards to which the roof was attached. Apparently, the roof was damaged after the rain as the interior received little damage, except we have a faint water mark down the center of the stage curtain.
