The cooler weather is certainly a pleasant change from the mid-90s that have still been with us until just last week. If it stays cooler, I think we will all feel that summer is really over for this year, and we can move on to enjoy the fall. One real benefit right now is that the demands on our water system are down from the higher usage a couple of months ago when our residents needed to water their lawns and landscapes.
