Slow-Cooker Italian Smothered Venison Well, we have entered into my favorite seasons, the Holiday Season and Hunting Season. This time of year some us have an abundance of venison (deer meat) but if you don’t, round steak works great with this recipe. I also have made this using both axis and whitetail meat.
