The Lion’s Roar
Twenty-five intrepid Lions Club members braved the single digit chill factor and joined “Boss” Lion Jim Heidelberg on January 16 as he gaveled to order the weekly meeting of the Mason Lions Club. The meeting room at Nacho’s was toasty, the food was hot and the friendships warm. Today in history on January 16, 1953, Chevrolet introduced the Corvette Stingray at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.
