When Summer is Just An Oven Door Left Open! On Monday morning, we got the Executive Order from County Judge Jerry Bearden instituting a burn ban, and banning aerial fireworks over the July 4th holiday. I've posted the Order on our Facebook page, and included it in this issue. Thus far, reaction has been supportive and well received. For several days now, temperatures have hovered at or above 100 degrees.
