FEMA Andrew Murr, our local State Representative, told Mason citizens that FEMA standards leave small communities like Mason at a disadvantage when attempting to qualify for a “national disaster” status. Mason City Commissioner Sue Pledger attended Rep. Murr’s recent meeting and followed up with a call to his Austin office for further details on FEMA’s criteria for National Disaster.
