We now meet annually, and this year on October 20 we intended to gather under the magnificent live oaks where we played each year through eighth grade. Because of life-giving rain, we met, instead, in our nearby grammar school. We want to share with you readers the lyrics of a poetic song portraying the character of those live oak trees that we then young students were so privileged to witness for so many, many years.
