The Lion’s Roar
Lion president Marty Bentson opened the November 27 meeting of the Mason Lions Club. Lion Dane Phillips presented his speaker for the program, Lion Brent Hinckley, mayor of Mason. Lion Brent spoke on the Community Foundation in Mason, telling about its curious history and many benefits to the community. The Community Foundation's history began back about 2006, when a hospital to be unnamed had a thrift shop in Mason to raise money for the hospital.
